What We Do
Our network of Southern Marin high school varsity athletes will give your child private coaching at a fraction of what professional coaches charge.
We aim to balance instruction with fun to keep kids engaged for longer — giving you some extra “me time.”
Our network of athletes offers sessions covering baseball, soccer, lacrosse, football, and basketball.
Solo lessons cost $50 for a one hour session.
Small group lessons available as well. Prices vary depending on the number of kids.
Locations vary depending on the sport, but all lessons take place in Southern Marin. We can find a spot convenient for you!
Your Teen Coaches
Hi everyone, my name is Drew Weinberg. I'm a junior at Redwood High School and a member of the Varsity Baseball team. Last year, I was named MVP of Redwood JV Baseball, batting close to .400.

I've been coaching for Marin Baseball for three years, working with players ages 6 to 14, and before that, I spent years playing in the program myself, starting at 10u. I was a part of Twin Cities Little League for over 8 years and made the All-Star team every year possible. I have also been giving private baseball lessons for over a year now with all ages of kids. I play infield primarily, with experience pitching and playing outfield as well.
I'm patient, outgoing, and I love talking baseball — I've got a deep well of knowledge about the game and enjoy sharing it. Outside of baseball, you'll find me on the golf course, playing board games, or spending time with family and friends.

Hi soccer players! My name is Cade Jaffee, and I’m a junior at Redwood High School. I have played on the Redwood Varsity Soccer team since I was a freshman, and I also play for Marin FC. I have been named to the ECNL NorCal team 2nd team 2 times, and I have played in 2 ECNL National Selection games.

Along with that, I was fortunate enough to win a league title with Redwood my freshman year. I have been doing private sessions with Goalkeepers for a year, and I just started to expand to all positions. I work with soccer players ages 6-13 to help them grow in all aspects of their game. I always try to hear what the athlete has to say about what they feel they need to improve on most.
I am energetic, hard-working, and a huge fan of Manchester United. I’ve been playing since I was 5, and I have experienced the game from many different lenses. I hope to be there for athletes on the pitch, and off it, as a guiding role model to help players reach their goals. Outside of soccer, I enjoy watching movies, talking about physics, and flying planes at Gnoss Field in Novato.

What's up, everybody! My name is Burke Edelen, and I'm a junior at Redwood High School, where I play varsity football. I play both wide receiver (outside and slot) and defensive back, but I'm excited to help athletes at any position improve their game!

I've gained coaching experience through football and soccer camps, as well as helping my dad coach my younger cousins’ basketball teams. Those experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively, adapt to different learning styles, and make practices both productive and enjoyable.
I've played flag football my entire life and started playing tackle football about four years ago, so I can work with players of any age, experience level, or skill set.
Outside of football, I enjoy spending time with my friends, training, and giving back to my community. I've volunteered with organizations like Marin County Search and Rescue, which has taught me the importance of leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.

Hi, my name is Ryder Clark, and I am 16 years old. I currently attend Redwood High School and play competitive soccer for Marin FC. Soccer has been a huge part of my life for the past 13 years, and throughout that time, I have developed a deep passion for the game both as a player and as a mentor.

I was honored to be selected to the First Team All-MCAL, recognizing my performance and dedication at the high school level.
Beyond playing, one of my favorite aspects of soccer is helping young athletes grow and develop their skills. I work with youth players to improve their technical ability, confidence, and understanding of the game. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where players can have fun, work hard, and build a lifelong love for soccer. I am excited to share the knowledge, experience, and passion that the sport has given me with the next generation of players.

Hi everyone, my name is Ethan Finkelstein. I’m a rising junior at Redwood High School and a member of the Redwood Varsity Lacrosse team. I’ve been playing lacrosse for over seven years and have competed at both the high school and club levels with Redwood and ADVNC Lacrosse.

As an attackman, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the game and a passion for helping others improve.
I’ve spent time working with younger athletes through coaching and officiating youth lacrosse games through NCLRA (Northern California Lacrosse Referees Association). These experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively, stay patient, and create a positive environment where players can learn and have fun. I enjoy helping athletes build confidence, develop their skills, and grow their love for the sport.
I’m outgoing, energetic, and always excited to talk sports. Outside of lacrosse, you’ll find me golfing, writing for the Redwood Bark, or spending time with family and friends.

Hi everyone, my name is Adam Scheer. I’m a junior at Redwood High School, where I balance academics, leadership, athletics, and community involvement. Athletics have always been a big part of my life. I plan to play varsity basketball as a point guard and also varsity tennis.

I also play golf for fun on the weekends with my friends. Through sports, I’ve learned the value of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and staying focused under pressure. In my role as junior class president, I help organize events and fundraisers to bring our class together and give back to the community. Some of our recent events include bake sales, the Pickleball tournament, and our turkey bowl.
Outside of school, on my tutor at Mathnasium, where I help students build confidence in math. I’ve also volunteered with Bridge the Gap as a reading buddy, worked with Bay Area Rescue Mission, PAASS, and Play Marin.

Hi everyone, my name is Finn McCarthy. I'm a junior at Redwood High School and a member of the varsity football team. Football has been a passion of mine since I first picked it up at age 11, playing for the Southern Marin Broncos, and that love for the game has only grown stronger over the years. Last year, our JV team had an incredible season, going undefeated in our league.

I'm a versatile player with experience at quarterback, wide receiver, and cornerback, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of the game on both sides of the ball. Playing multiple positions has taught me to think through the game from different perspectives — how a defense is set up, how a route develops, how to read a play before it unfolds. That kind of football IQ is something I love sharing with younger players, whether we're working on throwing mechanics, route running, defensive footwork, or just learning how to compete with confidence.

Hi everyone, my name is Spencer Weinberg. I just graduated from Branson School, where I was a three-year varsity starter at second base. Baseball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up playing Little League and played in the Marin Baseball program before going on to compete at the high school varsity level, so I know this community well.

I've been involved with Marin Baseball as a coach for the past five years, working at camps and coaching teams. As a middle infielder, I have a strong foundation in defensive fundamentals, footwork, and the mental side of the game. I can break down the game in a way that's clear and fun, and I always tailor my approach to what works best for each player. In the fall, I will be heading to Vanderbilt to study Economics.
